Disabling the author archives if your site has just 1 author

What are author archives?

Author archives are automatically generated pages that display all posts written by a specific author.

Why should you disable them?

If your site has only one author, it’s a good idea to disable author archives. These archives often create duplicate content since they typically mirror your blog’s homepage, which can lead to SEO issues. However, for multi-author websites, author archives can be helpful because they allow users to easily find content by a particular author.
